I just finished The Forsyte Saga by Galsworthy.Took me a long time but it was worth it!At the moment I am reading No Name by Wilkie Collins and Collected American Humorous stories.

I have never read any books of C.S Lewis so maybe after I finish the one's I am reading now.

There are no good libraries around here where I live.So I have to buy what I read. Not only expensive but inconvenient for people like us who get tranferred to a new city every 4-5 years which in India mostly means a move of around 1000kms.However that does not deter me from adding to my pile every month!

Urmimala, may I be the first to recommend a couple of books to introduce you to C.S. Lewis? I adore his works and have read most if not all of them, and many of them 2 or 3 times!

I am especially fond of his non-fiction works and highly recommend "God in the Dock" which is a book of essays by C.S. Lewis. It would give you a wide perspective of his great mind. If however, you prefer fiction, you can never go wrong with the Narnia Chronicles. What ever you choose, I would be most interested in your comments when you are done. Happy reading! :-)

BTW - I am currently reading "Competency-Based Resumes" and "60 Seconds and Your Hired". Lol. ;-)

Thanks for the C.S. Lewis recommendations.  Actually, I must correct myself.  I have read one of his books, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe."  But I am excited now about diving into his other works!
