Oregon Hazelnut Museli cookies

4 cups of bran flakes, 1 cup buttermilk, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 teaspn baking soda, 1 batch of the following receipe of energy balls. combine all ingrediants including the hazel nuts to roll the energy balls in and spoon 1 Tablspoon of mix on greased cookie sheet, bake 350 degree F for 12 mins..soft and chewy, makes 40 cookies.

Oregon Hazlenut energy balls

1/2 cup of peanut butter, 1/3 cup dry milk, 1/4 cu[ grated cheese, 1 cup of museli, 1 cup hazel nut, mix ingrediants , let stand 5 mins, roll into 1 inch balls and coat with chopped hazel nuts.

It is defineately an survival type food Jason for an local work-out at the gym in excerise...or if your on the run and can't cook immediately.

Keep the receipes, they took out Gourmet Magazine, had been in business since 1940...but decided if things had to be cut back by the publisher, it had to go. Receipes you can go back to 40 years from now and still enjoy them, "Politics" starts out leaving you sour and is old stuff 40 years alter that still makes you sour to read it. Such is the thinking of today...hopeless.
