I'm sure though because he's the Mayor of London, that was the main reason that the police didn't try and prosecute him for picking up the iron bar and chasing the "girls" down the road. This seems to be a common police tactic to charge the good samaritan with an offence so they can "bury" the charge angainst the offender(s), who "ain't got nuffink, don't know nuffink and didn't do nuffink" !!
