Alas it was all to short and I was sorry to see her go so soon. I found her to be utterly charming and felt as though I had known her all my life. She is delightful, funny, intelligent, and just a tad bit saucy ;-). Occasionally, you have the experience of meeting someone with whom you feel an instant connection and for me it felt just that way with our Maria. Among the many things we have in common we share a mutual love of maritime history and spent a fun afternoon touring a portion of Salem's maritime sites. Afterwards, we shared a bit of lunch and had a lovely walk along the wharf. The weather was sunny and unusually warm for this time of year; just perfect for a day out touring.
