Unfortunately for us over here, Jason, we don't have castles, of the ancient variety that is.  But of all the ancient buildings I'd visited over there, I would stop from time to time and wonder, "how many people died in this very spot over the centuries?"  Anybody ever spend the night in Westminster Abbey or St. Paul's.  That might be a bit scary too.

I think its fair to say that we don't normally consider such things Ruth, but what a thought? And what a story!!!

That's probably because they are still places of worship, Ron, but, if you really think about it, they are mausoleums as well.

Muncaster in Cumbria, is supposed to be haunted.  They do overnighters if you dare.  Not me I'm sorry to say, but it's a georgeous place.  Tom Fool resided there many moons ago, and his room is apparently haunted, ( I'm not so sure).  Also there is a lady in grey who walks outside ( she was murdered).
