True, but then i play on GTA sometimes, but i don't go shooting people! I think a lot of the problem with violence like this is people that are damaged, by either abuse, lack of something or just ....well no real nice way of saying it ...but just plain low on intelligence and mislead!

Hi Rick.

Whats seen every day?? shootings??  i know your right, but given the population, the chances of been shot or murdered must still be pretty low.

But it is glorified! you are cool if you can kick butt and be a tough guy. you get more points if you kill this person or wreck this car (video games)

There just seems to be less compassion and caring in this world. And true it's lack of intelligence and education but you find now that the most intelligent and well off people can be the most evil!!

I think we can. If you push and push and push...someone is bound to listen. Maybe.

I remember that, Rhett! Hiding under my desk with my head bowed and my hands behind my head. lol. Thank god we never had to do it for real.

Yes, I was only a few months old during the cuban missile crisis and blissfully unaware but the adults must have been terrified.

Krissy, this is horrible. God knows what goes through some peoples minds.

Jason...maybe it will never change BUT maybe it will tip the balance in our favor? If enough people change their ways of thinking and change their habits MAYBE it will do some good?

Or am I just a dreamer?

I think it will change, Jason, but not in our life time. I think it will take several hundreds of years further evolution for mankind to "breed out" the tendency to solve problems with violence. Which is an oxymoron since that can't be done; solving problems with violence I mean.
