Rita is very poetic to me. Hi Rita..Merry Christmas!   After I got over being hit unexpectedly with all this debt, I kind of lost myself in other things, went to see some Christmas Lights, where my old neighbor moved to, she was the first one to hold my son after he was born, as an babysitter...she had four boys herself..her area is one of those that really decks their houses out from top to bottom for blocks long. Then we went to check on the Christmas Ships, on the Willamette River and see if we could spot our friend's yacht, we think he changed it to an bell. Was an excellent night for it, calm water and clear skies and not really cold...Salty's the restruant that hangs over the river there was as decked out inside the building as it was outside, and we knew from the past, the ships make an special excursion near it. Lots of people were there to see them also.  We listened to Christmas music enroute, picked up some coupons for going through the PIR (Portland Internation Raceway)..which is another major city Christmas light display. All the relatives have been taken care of with cards and whatever else I had in mind for them...both sides also. Equally. So that's done. Got my gifty over to the neighbors for their son that has helped me recently doing chores for me...mostly lifting stuff. Finished off my "angel book" last night, finished off the kids for gloves and hats today, and a little something for their cousin, whom does an lot of babysitting for us on call the last minute much of the time. Finsihed off most the grocery shopping for over the holidays, on my third plate of goodies, but I'm still not baking as much or eating as much this year....rest will be last minute stuff...added some to the pantry also.  Paid my respects to some of these thrift shops that have been an true God send to me through many years now in help. I feel like some of these ladies are as much friends as retail clerks, and one of them was, we were in the same class at school and she use to live down the street from me growing up. Talked to both my sister and my brother, and I understand that huge old church out here in my area, some 3,000 people strong is having their Christmas concert this weekend...hubby asked me if I wanted to go, think they will have room for little ole' me? I've been to it different times before now, but not to the program, this would be an first. Other then that, it looks like things are proceeding along. How's everyone doing, Diana, Rhett, Bob, Stephanie, Barbara, Sue, Ruth, and everyone else I have not mentioned, I know they must be out there...Merry Christmas everyone. I even sent off my friend I talk to on the net an nice Wild Huckleberry sauce with Pinot Noir wine sauce for her Vension roast...her reply..."I knew you'd come up with something extra nice for Christmas!"  Guess what, I found out where they got the white "mint" almond Bark chocolate this season also! Havent' gotten it as yet, but you just never know....winks*. So anyway, time to kick back and if possible enjoy the season...and the reason, and the family. Hope your all doing good as well. Gonna go and check out your other posts...so catch you all later on!

Hello all! My youngest sister just got a new baby (of the four legged, furry variety) and he looks so much like Merlin that my heart nearly stopped when I first saw him.

He's only 1 and half years old. Sooooo cute! I'll be over at her house a lot more often now! Lol.

But will Auntie Diana be able to teach it where to pooh Barbara? Lol

That means anywhere but someone else's garden Diana!!!

I reckon all cats ought to have a plastic bag appropriated positioned, call it new 'catwear' if you like, you know so that they carry it with them! Lol
