Cathy E and Ruth,   I've just tried both of your u-tube links. Both are very different yet equally superb!    I actually feel quite uplifted! Smile

Glad you liked them, Toby.  Yes, the music has a way of touching you, doesn't it?  The ones you posted are really lovely, as Cathy said, like angels singing.  In fact, the first one you put up, "Paradisum" is on a soundtrack album called "In Search of Angels."  And the lyrics are a very common prayer used in Catholic funeral liturgies.

Do you like contemporary Christian music?  Here's one of my favorites.  We often sing this at Mass in my church.

Thanks Toby, that means a lot to me.

Here is a very special one that reminds me what Christ has done for me. It's a tear jerker.

I don't know a lot of church music I'm afraid. I do love Amazing Grace. I like the story behind it as well...and who wrote it.

I don't think I have a particular favourite, but enjoy all organ music. Having said that I think The Old Rugged Cross takes some beating.

My absolute favorite song to sing on Easter morning at church, Ron.  Hard to beat that one.  Other old favorites are I'll Fly Away and In The Sweet By and By.  These remind me of my childhood.

My church plays a lot of contemporary Christian music, and one of my favorites of those is I Can Only Imagine by Mercy Me.
