Yes, it was the Everley Brothers. They had a huge hit with Cathy's Clown in the U.K. and it was the first release over here on the Warner Brothers label, WB-1.

never quite got into music of that kind i prefer a big band sound any day   artie shaw,benny goodman, harry james sometimes with a good vocalist.

still it wouldnt do for everyone to like the same. Wink

I'd like to think my taste in music is pretty wide, but the late 50s & early 60's were the years that lead me to start collecting records along with my school chums and Rock 'N' Roll was much loved then.

i agree with you there rod please dont get me wrong i enjoy listening to some of the other stuff in fact i listen to most music but the big bands are my preference i think its with being raised with 3 oler uncles who collected all that type of stuff.Frown
