Happy Thanksgiving Diana!!!!!

I love Thanksgiving. We are having an early one on Sunday at my mom's (also for Erin's birthday) and on the day....to my sisters!! I may have to cook!!! Uh oh!!

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.  We'll be meeting at my husband's brother's house for dinner, along with all the family that are in Arizona.

BTW, I'm thankful for YOU.  All of you.  Thanks, Sarah and Chris, for bringing us all together.

 well we will not be able to go to the beach for Thanksgiving this year we have gone the last 4 years but my sister-in -laws mother who i call moma "c" is in the hospital not sure what is going on with her yet running test so any prayers would be appreciatedxxxxxx but she should be out by Thanksgiving and we will still have a great time just being together and being thankful for all we have;))'

Not trying to dampen anyone's day on this happy thread, but it felt more appropriate to me than on the obituaries (especially since they aren't "famous"). November has been a month of loss for me with the passing of two of my closest friends - one human and one feline. On November 5, my friend of 24 years, Susan Roesch, passed away suddenly due to blood clots in her heart and lungs.  She was a very young 70 and we remained close friends even though we had not seen each other in over 17 years after I moved back to Virginia from New Mexico.  She was my first British friend and taught me everything I know about tea, scones, and all things British.  At 1:45 AM ET today, my beloved cat, Misty, succumbed to kidney failure, after struggling with several health problems for many months.  Misty had been part of our family for most of her 14 or so years.  She could be so cranky and crabby sometimes, but also was very sweet and loving, a great companion. Both my friends will be sorely missed, but I am enormously thankful for the privilege of having been a part of their lives for so many years.  I will cherish my memories of happy days with them always.  Be thankful for every creature, human or otherwise, who blesses your life for a season, no matter the length of that season.
