Elsie was not well and we ended up not going to my mom's. Was very disappointing for me. And I miss my dad. So we are making up for it today and going to my mom's. I expect to have a nice day!!

It's recovery day from eating too much Debbie - LOL!

We always go a Boxing Day walk - we don't dare drive anywhere on Boxing Day as the sales start at Merry Hill - the shopping centre by our house. The Boxing Day sales had started so all the mad shoppers were out after a bargain. We walked up to the canal but the towpath was treacherous with ice so we walked back to the Nature reserve but most of the paths there were very icy too it was a very tentative walk!

'Boxing Day' refers to the occasion of the servants receiving their presents from the wealthy, the Lords of the Manor so to speak!

So what did you get, Ron?    Sorry, couldnt' resist!

Hello  . Sunday again, where does time go? I am off to visit family, as some are heading back to their respective homes today and won't be seen until this time next year.

What are you all up too?
