We always go a Boxing Day walk - we don't dare drive anywhere on Boxing Day as the sales start at Merry Hill - the shopping centre by our house. The Boxing Day sales had started so all the mad shoppers were out after a bargain. We walked up to the canal but the towpath was treacherous with ice so we walked back to the Nature reserve but most of the paths there were very icy too it was a very tentative walk! |
