Beautifully said Diana. Saying the same prayer. Merry Christmas to you!

Thank you all who have sent prayers and good wishes for Bill, my husband, the mystery man.  He is still in hospital now confined to bed, as he has lost the strength in his legs, and he has baffled all the medical staff as all tests including a MRI scan shows normal, he now has to wait for some experts to visit next week. I was going to see him today but yesterday the Doc confirmed I have shingles, he think it is caused by stress, but we are sure someone somewhere must have an answer so are staying positive.

I am not going to be a bore, therefore I will not mention this again until I have some good news.

As the family went to visit him I stayed here and uploaded a few pics which my son took for me last week.

Thank you Stephanie for your e mail and also thank you Maria for your e mail Christms wishes from Italy, they were very much appreciated, nice to have a feeling of 'belonging'

I hope you all had a good day and enjoy the rest of 2009

Peggy, my heart goes out to you always. I am so sorry to hear how Bill is suffering. I pray they find quickly the cause of his ailment. And prayers for you too, that your stress may be lifted and your heart made light. I'm so glad you have family around you for the Holiday. I know it is not easy to be in a celebrating mood with all of this going on but i wish you the Merriest Christmas you can have. And I pray your New Year's brings great joy and good health. Kiss

So sorry to hear this Peggy - what bad luck and so sad that you can't visit him because of your shingles. Hope you get better soon too - have plenty of rest as shingles can be nasty. Thinking of you and praying for you.

May I second that emotion?  Very well said, Diana.  Adding my prayers to all of the above.

Coleen Rooney (footballer Wayne Rooney's wife for our friends across the pond) is keeping a bedside vigil with Wayne for her sick sister Rosie, aged 11 years. Rosie has a rare brain disorder known as Rett Syndrome (for which there is no cure) took a turn for the worse before Christmas.

Our prayers are for this little girl also. C'mon members lets see if the power of POE Prayer can help again.
