Oh no! It was on and I missed it? Pooh! Lol.

I'd love to buy it on DVD but as of the last time I looked it wasn't available.

Talking about dvd's. A dvd about C S Lewis and Oxford will be available soon. This week, this month, not quite sure as I still have to get an ISBN and Barcode number and copyright issues sorted before sale.

It will be based on my knowledge of C S Lewis and Oxford and has been produced by an Australian couple did the C S Lewis tour with me, and who have worked for free! They, like many Americans so appreciate what C S Lewis stood for and offered to shoot the complete works with no cost to me. How good is that dear members? Their names are Ian and Robyn Perry and I will proudly give more details later.

Fantastic, Ron! That's just marvelous and I can't wait to see it. I hope it's available in the US!

Krissy, I did check Amazon and I think they may have it in VHS but not DVD.

And he film's most famous line wasn't even in the script!  Nice view there of Crystal Palace Park, not to mention the scenic sewers near Coventry later on. Smile   For more films.......

I have lots of favourites. Here are a few:

Tunes of Glory (1960--Alec Guinness)

Paths of Glory (1957--Kirk Douglas)

Glory (1989--Matthew Broderick, Denzel Washington)

Well, I've gloried in those titles . . . here are some more:

The Uninvited (1944--Ray Milland)

The Searchers (1956--John Wayne)

The Quiet Man (1952--John Wayne)

She Wore a Yellow Ribbon (1949--John Wayne)

Three Godfathers (1948--John Wayne)

You might assume that I really like John Wayne--actually I only like John Wayne in films directed by John Ford, who was able to really draw out Wayne's inner talent and not just surface bravado.

I liked many of John Wayne's movies, but the "Magnificient Seven" also.., the Star war series..my nieghobor living across from us did much of their small hand figurine toys they sold back then. He designed the "moulds" they used to make them. Later on moved to the Great Lakes area of the USA. I like some of Daniel Day Lewis's movies also, James Bond, Sean Connery, Mel Gibson just came out with another new one, many of these actor's include an favorite...there's just so many of them..and you all have included many here in your postings also. I've read an lot of good books, I thought would make good movies through the years. The "Ocean" series of movies, were all good ones as well. Nice trying to remeber them all...musicals like "West Side Story" .."Sound of music"..and I do remeber one's like  "Dances with Wolves" for instance.. years ago, "Rio Bravo", "North to Alaska"...as someone mentioned "Out of Africa"...The Titanic"  there's soooooo many of them. Who...I mean who... can ever forget when Godzilla's mother come's after her kid on shore? There's kind of that low voice there saying "Oh my God" looking at mama. How about "Close encounter's"..with the UFO's punching out an message for everyone. Bridge on the River Kwia?..On an on they go....
