Think Rob would have alot in common with my husband too - he is a big John Wayne fan especially as he reminds him of his late father. Terry collects films - we have 1000's of the things! Not looking forward to locating a place for them in the new house which is smaller than this one! Shirley - musicals are my guilty pleasure! I have fond memories of dancing around the floor with dusters on my feet to the sound track of The King and I (this was the clever way Mom used to clean our wooden floors and make it a fun job!)

I like the early James Bond pictures, from the 60's with Sean Connery, From Russia With Love, Dr. No, Goldfinger. The Cheyenne Social Club with Jimmy Stewart and Henry Fonda. My Cousin Vinny - hilarious! Braveheart Frankie and Johnny, with Michele Pfeiffer and Al Pacino - one of my all time favorites. Good Will Hunting Stuck on You - also hilarious! As Good As It Gets Dirty Dancing - I play the soundtrack all the time.

There was a homophobic demonstration going on outside - I had never seen anything like this in the UK at the time. Then when we went in to watch the film everyone was cheering when they killed anyone English. You might know Terry had got an England Rugby shirt on - wondered if we would get out alive! |

I think I liked it the most because it was shown at a time, in the states, that was bordering on changes, and changes for the better-as far as attitudes were concerned. The film itself was ok, but the messages of change were spot on ! Sidney, at that time, was probably the only actor to have played that part as well as he did. |
