I thought to start a thread about dear (very) old Belgium. It also gives me an opportunity to chat some more with you all. What do you think about if someone mention Belgium? What are your experiences with Belgians? Maybe there 're some wild stories or misunderstandings about us that I can clear up or explain. Go ahead! Everything about Belgium can be posted here and now ! (ps please be kind to us poor Belgians) Edited by: patrick van calck at:7th January 2010 07:45 |

Might be an interesting thread, although I suspect this maybe the only response you will get! Yes, we love the EU that much!! Lol |

When I was in high school we had a foreign exchange student from Belgium. He was so pleasant and thoughtful. We wrote back and forth for awhile but I lost track of him. I think it is great to learn of other places and people to try and close the gap between us all. |

My sister went on a school trip once to Brussels. I would rather not be in the EU and I would like to keep the pound. I have nothing against you Belgians though! Like Sue - I think chocolate! |

When I met her she was living in England and then moved to Australia. I've lost touch with her over the years but think of her fondly. I thought I found her on Facebook recently but either it wasn't her or she's ignoring my inquiry. Lol. I also think of delicious chocolate! BTW- I love, love, love your new avatar, Cathy, it's the bee's knees! |
