Meaning of course that as the UK population is about 60 million, 40 million didnt watch it lol. having never watched it myself, (its so depressing) I understand that for its 25th birthday it screened a live episode exposing who murdered one of the actors. They rehearsed about 6 different endings to generate suspence, finally telling the actor responsable at the last moment. now correct me if I'm wronge but as the 'bookies' ran a book on the result, those in the know (and presumebly their friends and families) could put a large stake on the outsider and draw a 'nice little earner' lol. mmmm just a thought! |

I watched it on and off for a few years but I don't watch any soaps these days as most of them are depressing! I nearly watched the live episode just for the nostalgia of it but I wouldn't know who anyone was so I decided not to! |

At least these days you can record the shows, back in my era of watching them, we didn't have that available. You missed an couple of shows and it through you off in what was going on. I can't say I'm for or against them really now. I do like variety in the air waves with an bit of everything though. |
