I remember all of the above vividly.  But that's because the brain absorbs things so easily when you're but a child.  Wink

I've been listening to the BBC online.  I love their variety and no commercials.  And I can't believe how much disco stuff they play.  It's like being in 1977 all over again.  lol

Ron, you just gave me an idea for a new thread.

I always link songs to times in my life - that is why I am always good at these music competitions when it is Guess the Year! I am also a master at remembering lyrics to songs where most of the time my memory is terrible - shame I can't sing very well since I grew up.

So many - I will pick out a couple of the happy memories from songs.

Bon Jovi - Livin' On A Prayer - that reminds me of the days when I was single and my friend Tracey and I used to go out on Friday nights to the city and we used to play it full blast in the car singing our heads off!

Lovely Day by Bill Withers always reminds me of my nephew James. I did a video in the 80's for my Mom of his baby photos and I dubbed the record over it - with limited equipment in those days it took me an age!
