Hubby and I took a ferry across the River Shannon while we were in Ireland last year.

As an aside, the trip became rather unusual when a very drunk local tried to commit suicide by throwing himself into the river in front of the ferry.

Somedays, more often then not...LOL!

When was the last time you picked fresh fruit to eat?.... Off an tree, out of the garden.

This last week - the avocado pears on the tree in the garden are nearly ready to be picked, so I took some out of the tree to see how much longer before they are ripe.

Helped at a community (school/church etc) bazaar, fete, function

I volunteered at the local senior centre serving the beverages at their annual Christmas dinner. It was so much fun!

Went to the park?

Last weekend.  We have loads of great parks here and Denzil loves to go.  We will go to the one near the house before the day is over today.

Called in sick to work?

Self employed can't afford to be sick - got a very strict boss! lol

Made roast beef and yorkshire pudding?

Made a lovely Sunday roast beef about 3 weeks ago when all the out of town company were here for my nephew's wedding.  Sadly, I've never made Yorkshire pudding though.  But we had a wonderful Sunday roast beef with Yorkshire pudding at a lovely little pub in Wimborne Minster, Dorset last August.  It was to die for. And the pub was a 15th century coaching house called the Coach and Horses - thatched roof, low ceilings.  It was great!!

Went out for the day specifically to take photographs?

2 days ago---to Nettlebed, Oxfordshire and then a photo of Japanese Knot weed along a road I know. Impossible to iradicate.
