Time before that was two years before that, when we visited Ireland and England. Next time will be next year when we visit England, and maybe Wales or Scotland this time. But I really need a new kitchen.......lol Decisions, decisions! Visited a museum?

My hubby put in his business card one time at the one over in Bend, Oregon and won an free night's stay....OH..I know.. we stayed at the Grand Rhonde Cascino last fall. I was wondering what the new wing of it looked like inside. Wasn't anything to specatular. Nice though. I like staying up at Mt. Hood and the MT.RV Village Resort....they rent out their cabins, which are glorified like two level trailers in ways, with huge outside decks that wrap around and they have private hot tubs. They don't do it any more... but if you tell them that your coming, they use to greet you with wine and had fresh baking bread cookin gin your unit when you arrived. Ours had an extra room attached to it, so it had an livingroon to an open family room with an fireplace..an loft, with bed...full bedroom, with extra tv set, alarm, full bath, kitchen and dining area..another larger TV, WIFI, stero system in the ceiling. windows all around, deck with BBQ and picnic table, st amid treees...hiking trail outside along the river, your way high above it, but you can watch the water flowing from inside. The price of renting one of these units includes all lodge amedities also, and that's an big screen TV, lodge sized fireplace, bar, group parties over the weekend, swimming pool, another hot tub and full excerise room. There's an on site cafe and small grocery also. I don't know if they rent them out any more like they use to, last time I noticed they had raised the price to $300 an night for an houseful of people...for the bigger units as I just described. We played old time simple games and built small puzzels half the night the time we stayed...some one had placed them in an huge trunk..coffee table for use. It was an special Christmas get away for my then Preggie daughter in-law and my hubby's birthday combined. There was five of us at the time..my grand-daughter was still an baby. Wasn't much special she could do, couldn't buy her anything to wear for christmas because the baby was due the next month. My brother came up an rented one of the rustic type KOA cabins across from us, stayed the night, and then he celebrated New Year's Eve up at Mt. Hood watching fireworks. Have not been travelling much like we use to do. .....Last time you rented an car? |

I had arranged for an economy car, and they rented us a Mercedes. I said, wait a minute, I didn't rent a luxury car, and they said the Mercedes we rented was the eoconomy model. And it was - reminded me of Ford Focus. I guess Mercedes are a dime a dozen over there. Bought something online?

But I love books so do all my shopping online for these, so two weeks ago I ordered a couple which arrived yesterday, whooppee I have something new to read, not have to reread all the old ones!!! Visited the mountains? |

We occasionally go across to the Snowdonia area of Wales and drive through the mountains - probably about two years ago last time. We went to Scotland last in 1998. Last time you travelled by boat?

That was probably 3 years ago. The last time I rode in a boat was to assist my friend Lorraine with creel surveys on Apache and Canyon Lakes in Arizona. Lorraine's a research biologist. Got stopped by the police whilst driving?

Not to mention I was having car problems at the time. He walked up on me when I was caling for help on that with my cell phone. Wore an cowboy hat? |
