About six months ago.  I probably need to do it again, but thanks for reminding me, Cathy.  I need to add power steering fluid tomorrow!  I think I may have a slight leak.

Yes, I did bake that red velvet cake.  It was yummy.  Do you ever visit any other African countries?

Painted a room?

Sorry Ruth - read "bought" instead of "brought" my apologies

I am busy painting all the security bars and gates on our back stoep, does that count?  Its far worse than painting flat walls!

We haven't visitied far afield Zimbabwe (when it was still Rhodesia and what a beautiful country it was), Swaziland, Lesotho, still wanting to get to Namibia with its incredible sand dunes and desert and very old german villages.

Planted some vegetables?

2 years ago, just tomatoes.  Gardening is very labor intensive here.  You can grow a decent garden if you plant now and have everything harvested by may or June at the latest.  After that, it's too hot.

Well, I'll see you around Cathy.  It was really lovely chatting with you.

Went to dinner and a movie with your sweetie?

About 14 years ago - we haven't been out much on our own since we had the boys!

Last year (and the year before), I wrote several times to my state representatives and the then-Governor urging them to follow the examples of DC, Maryland, and BRITAIN and ban smoking in bars and restaurants.  They finally heard me, as well as others I'm sure.  As of the 1st December 2009, I am able to eat out at restaurants and not be bombarded with nasty cigarette smoke.  Hurrah!!!

Sat on a park bench (or elsewhere) and people watched?

That would have been a few years ago when we ate at the Maccaroni Grill in Reno, Nevada. They have a paper table cloth, and supply crayons so that you can keep yourselves entertained during dinner.

Got soaked in the rain?

I mean really soaked, bone showing through the barnet! One day, about two weeks ago whilst waiting for a bus into Oxford City. (Free bus pass you see Sue) and as soon as I had got seated on that Brookes bus that goes through the village, I just knew I couldn't carry on. I had to get off at the next stop, return home and get a change of clothes. Never made it into Oxford that day!

Sneaked an extra chocolate biscuit whilst you thought nobody was looking?
