I've never been tipsy or drunk as I'm a teetotaler.

All the time, I just don't seem to be able to keep shoes on my feet, and as we are edging towards Autumn now I love to walk in the dewy grass.

Picked flowers from your garden?

I only grow flowers in pots, so I don't usually pick them.  However, I do have a chinaberry tree in the back yard, which produces the most delicate and sweet smelling blossoms every April.  I usually pick several bunches and put them in vases around the house or at my office.  So I guess my answer would be last April.

Played a musical instrument?

A few months ago when I overtook a huge tractor trailer on the road!! The lane was merging and I had to get ahead of him!!! Maybe it's more stupid than dangerous!!!  I do remember seeing spikes on the wheel hubs!! LOL!

quotePosted at 15:51 on 8th March 2010

When I was 21, I hiked to the top of Ben Nevis in Scotland in bad weather--stupid as well as dangerous (ah, the seeming immortality of youth!). Rain and VERY thick cloud cover enveloped my friend and I, causing us to become separated. I couldn't see beyond about ten feet and as the summit was covered with snow, it was like lurching around in cotton batting. My friend had already started heading down, so I followed what I thought were his footprints in the snow. What I was not aware of was that I had become completely disoriented in the heavy fog and had turned away from the path and was headed instead toward the sheer cliff. I was still following the footprints in the swirling whiteness when a tiny bit of it cleared, revealing a black abyss all around me--I had stepped onto a snow ledge overhanging the cliff and was within feet of falling to my death! I backed away and headed in the opposite direction, by which time the cloud cover had lifted to some extent. I was actually physically shaking and beat a hasty retreat down the mountain. That is undoubtedly the closest I have every come to sudden death!

Last time . . . you visited a battlefield?
