Scotty came over as you all know and the first afternoon, we hauled another truck of stuff out of my garage, and then he came over and washed my carpeting upstairs and down, and then planted an evergreen tree for me, so I don't have to look at my neighbors trash bins this year from my patio. Its been such dry weather here over the last several years I'm about to lose an huge huge azeala bush I had planted there 30 years ago. It's just barely got some life to it this year again, I don't know if fertilizer would bring it out and grow some extra leaves and start it anew or not...it's an yellow/orange flowering type. Anyway, this works out so well, because I paid him $70 and it helps him while on "Spring Break" also. You have NO idea, how much this really really helps me around this house do things that are hard for me to do. So indeed, it IS an good day!!! |

Might help somewhat. Try pruning back a bit too so that it doesn't have so much to keep alive if there is a water shortage. |

We have had a little more rain overnight so the garden is still green and right now everything is good in my world, for which I am really grateful. Thinking of Cathy E, we haven't heard from her in a few days, Krissy & Stephanie's mother and move, Diana & Rick's mother & move and any one else who needs the thoughts and prayers on POE Yesterday evening I started going back through the old Picture Chats and what a great visit that was, chuckles and laughter reading the comments and re-looking at the older photographs. Do yourself a favour and lose yourself on this old chat forum - it is so worthwhile. Wishing you all a wonderful Friday and great weekend My goodness Ron - your early today! The truth is I had a little too much to drink last night and had to get up for my head was pounding. Don't normally drink too much but had to try to get a nights sleep after several days (nights) where I just couldn't sleep soundly. Anyway, I'm okay now so looking forward to eggs, bacon, mushrooms, black pudding etc......mouth watering stuff eh? |

Thank you Cathy & Urmi for your good wishes. It is hectic here - Terry got his "man shed" yesterday - he has always wanted one! The electrician was at the new house most of yesterday and the gas fitters didn't leave until 7.30pm. I took a load of stuff to the charity shop and then my car was playing up so I had to call the AA. It's all go!

We are a bit up to our eyes - we have carpets and floor boards up all over the new house, leaks from water, a half fitted central heating system, My new oven & hob are still on the floor in the kitchen with no gas pipe to them, half done electrics and we are moving early next week! Yesterday Solomon ran in with dirty wellies and ran straight over the light bedroom carpet so he have us another job to do! I am worried about Cathy & Elsie - hope things are improving. I must apologise to my all my friends for not getting in touch with them enough - things will hopefully be back to normal soon. |
