That's a bitter sweet memory George. I have lots of songs that bring back memories from different times in my life. (I deleted the double post by the way!).

Bridge Over Troubled Water always reminds me of my best friend at primary school. Her mother died young of cancer & they played this at her funeral, there were 400 people at the funeral as she was a very special lady and the first person I knew who died in my life. I was very close to the family - used to stay round there and my friend would stay at my house while her mother was having treatment. Shortly after her death my friend's father remarried and they moved house & schools so we lost touch.

Maybe another thread title required Stephanie. For example, Can POE help to find your long lost friend? I'll set it up and we'll see what happens.
