Its fast approaching April Fool's day lol.

For our overseas friends, April Fool's day is an old custom that, on the first day of April and before 1159am. (noon) you can 'fool' your friends by playing a 'trick' on them, then cry 'april fool.'

These acts can range from the school playgroung tricks such as telling someone their shoe lace is undone, when they look down you embarress  them by shouting 'April fool!'

Work colleages, Newspapers and even the 'media' get in on the act by 'setting-up' their friends and the public with bogus tasks and news reports etc. All good fun really but to save embarresment, dont beleive anything anyone tells you on the first of April lol!  WinkLaughing

I am moving on the 31 March Michael - decided an April Fools Day move was not for me! I have never really been any good at April Fools wind ups and I get taken in quite easily!

We have April Fool's day here too, Michael and Stephanie. I don't think ours has a time restriction on it though.  You can be an April Fool and play April Fool's tricks and pranks all day if you'd like.  Smile

Our local Elks Lodge somehow managed to get their charter through on April first...just like the Newport, Oregon coast got their's through on Valentines Day also....but they ususally make amends in ways when they find these things out. By all rights Stephaine we were handed the keys to our "new" house on Friday the 13th, but they made it the 15th for the paperwork on it, realizing the date..hope you have an good move. If you only knew this house, everything geared in it seems to speak "holy cross" of some kind built right into the house..but an newer much more expenisve house up the street has our house address and phone number written right on the inside walls of it. How did things get like that?...I was missing my dog and asking the guys building it  to "phone me" if they saw her...one of them had an piece of chalk, so they wrote it on the wall stud...as they finsihed building the house. An school now sits in the backyard in the distance ..for its next door neighbor. My dog we found, we think an car hit her..threw her into an creek off to one side of the road. She's now buried on an computer chip factory grounds(Logistics, Int.) ...my hubby's old boss use to own the ground, next to an pond and under an huge old old oak tree...as is her little son named "Buffy".. those huge old oak trees seem to go through the family lineages at times. But I just wanted you to kow that things are never what they seem to be...even April Fool's Day.
