Elsie's situation has become very serious. She has been getting violent and is lower than rock bottom. My poor girl! And I feel so helpless. Was hoping she would get into a research study at Hopkins for treatment but it did not pan out. My lawyer is siding with her father and will not go after him to help her monetarily. He could care less! So needless to say I am totally knackered. I can't leave home and sometimes even her side. So please understand I am not ignoring my POE family, I just don't have the energy to carry on right now. There is only one thing keeping me going right now and that is the love from a very special man. I don't know what I would ever do without him. Lots of hugs and kisses to him and all of you, my dear friends. |

I had a friends who was getting no where with her solicitor here in the UK - her abusive husband left her to bring up their 3 girls alone with no support and pay the mortgage herself. He moved in with another woman into a posh new house. 7 years later he came back and tried to take the house off her and was winning with her old solicitor. I put her in touch with my friend Liz who specialises in divorce and within 2 months she was awarded the house outright and some back pay from him. They completely ripped him apart in court! Thinking of you both. x |

I agree with Stephanie that you need a better lawyer, one who will focus on your needs and best interests. In my experience, the ones who special in divorce usually are very focused on their own client's needs and go all out to get them and more importantly their children the support to which they are entitled. Hang in there and know that we love you and are supporting you. |
