I'm not sure I was ever suited to being much of an stay-at-home person...Gemini's are not the type to want to stay still not doing much. Though I had an grifriend with an gemini daughter, and she was always asking me how I felt here lately and I'd tell her and ask why..she would say her daughter is acting like she's "wired" these days...which meant in into everything with everybody and anxiety ridden in general...and edging on "scattered brained". Yes,her mother was an steady steadfast "Capricorn" that was known for preservation...in the worse of odds. Much liek my hubby in ways...though he really gets me on his tight-wad ways at times. I finally made him the late 90's give up his 70's leasure suits..you guys remembe those. I told him there isn't NO way the era is ever coming back again and I don't think anyone would use them, except for at Holloween maybe as costumes. Out the door they went! But he still had that terrible pained look as if I had invaded his territory in some way...and the "Titantic" was sinking...LOL. He has four times the closets I do as it is....."Saves" everything. |

Many members are busy with the pictures and without those members there would be no picturesofengland, it takes time to download pictures, sort them out and upload them, therefore I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all those members for taking the time to show us so many beautiful scenes and buildings in our country. I know I look forward to see the new pictures each day. |

I notice things over here are showing an "England" trend at times, esp in the TV sector. One of the biggest things has been lately game shows...esp the game of Jeopardy. But I see it in other things, might also be helped these days by Simon of "American Idol" also helping Sarah Boyle...or perhaps we are wanting to get back more to our Eurpoean "roots" in some cases with the "south of the border" silent invasion of an sorts. My hats off to you photgraphers though..I would like some time to invest into "nature" myself with an camera. |

I try to check in just about everyday to see what's going on. Has anyone heard from Maria or Ray Stear? I got an e-mail from Maria about a month ago but haven't heard from her since. I worry about Diana too and hope that she is doing okay. Job hunting is very hard and frustrating. (Been there done that) Very glad to hear that Ricks mom is doing better. What was the name of the guy down in Cornwall? (yet another senior moment) He and his wife were so funny. Does anyone ever hear from him? Always good to see Peter in the forum. |
