I don't want anyone to miss this one!  On April 18 at 9:00 p.m.,(Calif. time) the National Geographic Channel is doing a show on the find.  Check your listings.  NG always does a wonderful job so don't miss it.

Lucky you!!!  Oh how I envy those of you who live there.  Have you seen any of it?  I'm not sure where it's at right now, in London I think.  Next time you go by there, think of me, wishing I was there.  LOL

I know there are farmers who will let you go on their land with metal detectors.  I definately have to do that.

Me too.  NG, The History Channel, History International,Discovery and BBC are my favorites.  History Channel recently had a show about William the Conqueror.  It was really good and very informative.  Lots of stuff that I wasn't aware of.

I also love the color of the blouse that you are wearing in your picture.  Very good color on you.

I wish I could of seen the one on William the Conquor...I like watching them with the HIstory to them also...and indeed the Bible History where they re-create passages in the bible that sounded mircaulous...they showed one night about making an fire with out matches, using only water...and it can be done if you know your chemicals in thier original properties. They started it with water...made me wonder afterwards if indeed they camped by water for that reason, but I'm sure there were others.

Great progs shirly but the actual film footage used, showing the invasion in 1066 was a little dated as it was shot in black and white. lol.  Wink

They only had black and white in 1066, Michael.  Laughing

When I heard about this great find, I wondered if all my good friends over there ever go out with their metal detectors.
