It is so kind of you to think of me - no I'm right here although it would be lovely to visit Diana in Boston! The new house is lovely and we are very happy here. It has a great view (I will put a picture on in a moment!), it is on top of a hill overlooking the Black Country areas of Dudley (we can even see the castle) and Rowley. It was built in 1937 and has a wonderful Minton tiled hall. 4 bedrooms, lovely "walk in" bay windows and it has a good sized garden which was overgrown & still looks more like a field than a garden! There is a lot of work that needs to be done here but we are loving it! The old house was "sold subject to contract" last Friday. Keeping our fingers crossed that all goes through OK. Having to pop back their most days to check everything is OK so with my work and the children have been off for the Easter break as well as my car playing up as you can imagine it has been hectic!

I am so glad you are happy in your new house, even if there is plenty to do. It sounds as though you have plenty of space and a fabulous view. May this be the home of your dreams and the sale of your old house go through quickly and calmly. I wish you and your family the best of good luck in your new home. |

We know your busy Stephanie, hope things calm down for you and you can return and keep us filled in on things. I'll have to go an look up Dudley Castle I guess. This morning hubby and I fertilized our tiny front yard, sprayed fruit trees out back, edged the flower beds, trimmed limbs and dead branches and weeded an bit, and planted three red azealas now in bloom also. "Starters" I guess for getting "Spring" started around here. It was such an nice day also. Really makes you feel like getting outside and doing something...but the "pain" I feel right now tells me to slow down an bit and "go slow" at first of the season. Need to paint an small strip of the fence out front also...little at an time I guess. |

Glad you are all happy, after all the problems you've had, GOOD LUCK |
