I think I like your last option Sue - which made me think it would be a very good idea to bring back conscription, that would half the numbers on the dole! - they could get the same money but have to do something for it! Won't the sergeant majors love this

On the subject of dole - during the depression people were clearing parks and fixing roads for the government for some income,  - why ever was it agreed to pay people dole but not expect a return for the money. 

Should have been ex amount of dole, for ex amount of community improvement or service or upliftment. The service conditions to be the same as Michael says the supermarkets do - that way they can't have side jobs and still get dole!

Many have talent as young kids today....just people don't paly i tup enough....and an lot of the swearing is that they have converted the words to mean gender these days...esp the word "bitch" for some reason..the hassle tassle of comments is for the most part one of trying to find "identity" for some people...and the young feel to do that is by bullying and putting down others...they don't have the money thier older peers have to "buy it"...for an voice of authority.
