Progression of POE

I have been thinking about when we first started uploading pictures they were all in together, then we were told we would have our own pages, way before the forums,  

What a long way it has come since those early days, such an achievement for a family concern.

I am sure many of us have learned alot from other peoples pictures, I know I have, and I can't recall how many changes of camera's I've had.

Now with the forums we have made friends far and wide, what more can I say except THANK YOU

Yes indeed Peggy.I know I may sound repititive having already said this many times but POE has really been one of the most wonderful discoveries of my life -for the pictures I get to see,for the things I get to know and learn about and for all the friends I have made here and am making everyday.

Lovely thought to start this thread Peggy.  I too would like to add my heartfelt thanks to those visualists who started POE and those who continue to see that it runs so well.  I have become a POE "addict", checking to see what all the members are doing and looking at all the stunning photographs, and finding out about places I never heard of before.

Long may you continue to thrive POE

It will be two years this July that I joined POE. It's been a great two years. I've made friends there I know I will have for life. It's been one of the best things to happen to me.

Oh, say, anyone that can put up with me for very long is someone pretty spectacular....I'm still doing genealogy on the side and still needing to learn more about castles...thanks for both of them here at POE. You uncomplicate history for me. You inspire me with pictures.

My 2-year anniversary of joining the best site on the www is coming up next month.  Can't believe it's been 2 years.  I feel the same way, Krissy.  I love everything about this site.  Thanks from me too, Chris, Sarah, Anna and Ron.xxxx
