The school place had gone very quickly so that made the decision for me - they are staying at their present schools until Aaron leaves to go to senior school next year when i will review the situation - so lots of driving for me! I am so glad that you loved Burton Dassett x I am still recovering from the shock of the house sale falling through. We are having a day out today - need to clear my head. Have a lovely weekend everyone. |

Congratulations on becoming a granddad, Shaun. I hope you are close enough to enjoy watching your little Jessica grow up.
The sun is shining here. Oh, what joy! I am going to work in the garden all day. Well, other than the five loads of laundry, and husbands hair cut. We're also having a BBQ tonight to celebrate a nephews 21st. It's going to be a grand day. I hope you all have a wonderful day. |

Best wishes to everyone concerned.. "grandpa"! Stephanie..what was the excuse on the house not going through if I might ask..the other people's credit perhaps?..something else came up? this is the house you were living in...or the one you bought...you have me confused on that one. You remind me so much of my sister in-law, now widowed...Leitha Knight Lawson, they bought an second house and traded with their oldest son. Kind of like the Reverand at the end of the street..he's going to his parent's house now...he has his house up now for sale through an real estate company. It's one of the smaller houses in the area. But we got one small house being built, and one for rent, and his, in an two block down stretch down the street right now. He wants $250,000 for it, 3 bedroom, two bathroom ranch type. I don't know if he will get it though after watching the "New" housing over in North Plains on the other side of Portland though. They are going for $190,000 for about the same type of house...if not slightly bigger. He could use some help with all of the neighbors picking up their front yards an making them look in "tip top" shape. If but only simply landscaped...so far that's not being done exactly. I hope this is just an "phase" though and not an forever thing. Most of them don' t look bad,,they just don't look "spectaucular" to indicate people that really care...it's hard, many of them work...have an lot of other things going on also...like my husband right now. Off this weekend to an scout outting, last weekend his sister was in town, weekend before that he went to an local basketball game with an brother in-law, those sorts of things. so now I get to go out and plant the garden I guess you know. So, I better get to it...because someone has to do this. |
