I have lots of favorite songs but one that comes to mind is "Fields of Gold."

My cats bring me a great deal of joy and so do my friends. And most of all **** ******!!!! But there are many things, birds, animals, nature, trees, waterfalls, etc.

What is the color of your Living Room?

Steph! Oh I love Life On Mars!! I just watched the last episode the other night!!! I loved the ending!! I hope they have a soundtrack to the show because even though I don't like 70's music, some of it I remember from my childhood!!!

And thanks for the compliment on my photo!

They do have a soundtrack to it Krissy - it is a great compilation - but they didn't put on my favourite - the reggae version of Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwoole - had to buy that separately! Watch Ashes to Ashes next! Come to think of it - that can go as my favourite song!

Favourite birds - long tailed tits

Favourite time of day - sunset now as I can watch the lovely sunsets from my new house!

Who I look up to - always my Dad - I miss him - 21 one years since we lost him this month.

Time I go to bed - 11pm

Brings me joy - same as Krissy - photography and my boys - including Terry of course!

Breakfast - I haven't had it yet - usually yogurt and bananas

Colour of living room - cream

What is your biggest worry at the moment?

My son in Korea. Still, I'm not overly worried, he's doing well enough. I guess I worry that his next stop may be Afghanistan, but try not to worry about what might happen.

I had a banana and three mini chocolate chocolate chip muffins for breakfast with a cuppa. I usually have a bagel with either cottage cheese or yogurt.

I am worried about where I am going to live and how I will support my daughter and me after this divorce. Her father could care less what happens to us.

My living room is white but I would love to paint it taupe with white trim. I think that would look elegant.

Gosh, you people been posting up an storm here lately in this thread...

Favorite bird..would have to be my talking "Ruby" bird and my outside resident "Eagles" up in the sky.

Favorite time for the day...anytime that I find it "soul" refreshing.

whom do I look up to..I would guess you could say self-made successful people that haven't done it the unscrupulous way..off others pains and sorrows.

Time I go to bed..well I take mini-rests throughout the day, 9 pm to 10 pm is one of them...then I listen to "coast"(talk radio)  until 2 am and hope I don't fall to sleep...I'm ussually up to see the kids out the door for school. Then I take an mini-rest in the afternoon if I do that also. Depends on what I'm doing during the day.

What brings me Joy...an lot of things, simple things, nature, little kids, baby animals, soft plush pillow, good juicy melt-in-your rmouth steak, etc. It's the quality, not the quanitity.

Breakast, usually oatmeal(Dr. prefered) ...but I like going out on the patio in the sun for breakfast and eating fresh fruit, sausages, eggs and toast now and then also...cup of fresh made coffee with the newspaper.

Color of living room, well I mixed my own batch the last time, so its an "Gold" right now..not yellow....I'd like to change it an lighter color for summer though. I have an amber window glass over my entry doorway that reflects any color of my livingroon with an gold reflection in the mornings.

What' s my biggest worry at the moment...not having enough money to live on in year's ahead...I can't make it as it is. We just lost $7,000 worth of stollen goods and the neighbor kid is over here asking for an $50 donation to some organization...I thought....you must be kiddin me. The $20 pie I bought for my grand-daughter's music class I ate also and thought..now I didn't need that, but if it's "there".. I'll eat it for the most part..esp if it's something  yummy.

Music, havent' really had the time to listen to much here lately. I like different music according to my different moods.

I just planted two rose bushes yesterday and they have "long stemed" velvet red roses on them....what was the last thing you planted?????

I was notiing that the herbs I bought to plant this year all came with plant tags with receipes on the back...for instance the "Lavendar"has an receipe for lavendar cookies on the back..need I tell you its like going out to see more then just the herbs, but an whole cookbook also. Kind of makes doing gardening an bit more interesing. The chives came with an receipe for an spread on Bruschetta.

Where would I like to be right now....I'm getting the feeling to want to be out in nature right now...tired of "town"...this area isn't like "country" to much any more.  Getting so bad it's almost any where but here at times. I planted over the weekend, pumpkins, pattypan squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, pepper, yellow cookneck squash...I thought I had some zuchinni but apparently didn't..maybe go get some tomarrow. Not much really in an way for an garden unless they are super prolific.

Sue, I like "sage" as an incense. Ever read the magazine called "Sage woman"?...new age stuff.

Cathyml...ever grown what is called "pineapple mint"...I like it over ice water with stevia, the herbal sweetner...for an summer "tea". It has an not so strong mint taste to it.

I did an lot this weekend in the garden and still have more to do, but I first have to wait for the bulb plants to start dying back, they are wall to wall blue bells and white bells amid the flower garden area. Once the outter leaves die back, we can take them out and bark dust. My "Chief Joseph" tree is really looking nice this year, we almost lost it one year...it's an "rarity" tree...for those of whom don't know, this is an delicate looking limey green evergreen tree that does something most evergreen trees do not do, it turns golden in the autumn and drops it pine needles. Besides ours, only other place I've known of one of them is at the Silverton  "Oregon Garden"...you can look that one up on your own to see pictures of it...they ususally have summer concerts also..besides the numerous various garden groupings there. They also have an designed "Frank Lloyd Wright House" they brought in also. The entire Nursery Industry got together to help make this come into being many years back.

On the stuff stolen from my yard Last Thursday night...on the news tonight....they said they don't usually do nes articles on bikes that have been stollen, but from Sellwood some people that had developed an prototype folding bike had it stollen, out of their back yard also, I guess yesterday...they were getting ready to "market" the bike itself for an business enterprise, it's been in several bike magazines. It is so unusal, anyone that see's it would know immediately its not your typical bike. Neither was our grandson's..his was an $500 bike that was built special, as my hubby said, its parts would not of fit your ordinary retail store "bike" ...we are hoping to get an bit of something back from it being taken. I almost feel like calling these guys up to see if we know any of the same people, but I don't know whom was at Brenda's party the other night...or who her associates are either for that matter of fact. In both cases, the people didn't just pick them up from the front yard, they had to make an effort to enter through gates and go to the back yard...yet, they seemed to know what to pick up because they left all the other bikes we had sitting around...took just the more expensive stuff.  I wonder if the police ever sit down and go to places like Craig's list and ebay to see how much stollen stuff is sold on it.  Atv's have registration and state serial numbers...just like an car does. If you see any "big" red and white ATV's for cheap..let me know...also an "blue" "free style" 20 inch bike and an small yellow dirt bike...motorized..I think it was in the avatar picture of the two kids on it had before the one I have now. The other guys bike was adult sized but totally "silver, it folded down and the wheels went together, the seat down and the handbars inward..and made like an smaller collapsible unit tha tcould be carried with an sling on it over your shoulder. When it was set up...it was designed strong enough to pull an canoe on an attached platform trailer. They said they left it in the yard but an couple of hours out back from having just gotten back from canoeing.

In London for a couple of days next month, can't wait.  Have had a bit too much peace and quiet, need a little noise.  Posted a few new images, the one of Guisborough was a bit of a wait, looking out of my window for the right sky and then shooting off to get the image ( I had found the trees three weeks earlier ), was a bit worrying for a while because did not want the rapeseed to lose that shine.  Love Thursday & Saturdays as they are market days ( Nice & busy ) in Guisborough, where I am Gallery Manager and enjoy chatting about photographs.  Love this site !
