Ok, so I've started a thread before about getting things off our chests. But now it's time to talk about the little things that made us happy today.

I spend too much time I think thinking about the hard stuff, the woes, the complaints. They say its best just to turn it all around by making the things we think about...happy things.

Can't hurt right?

So today...I am happy for...

Waking up to a rainy morning.

Talking to my best friend, who makes me laugh.

Seeing something really beautiful before I left for work.

The donuts that were waiting here at work.

The coffee that warmed me up from the inside out.

Laughing

Now..your turn!

I am happy that I could get right up, showered, eat breakfast and get work done. I was even looking for things to put in the trash so as to get rid of the clutter!!

I am happy that I got to enjoy a nice warm cup of tea.

I am happy I got to see some birds enjoying the cheap bird seed I got for them.

I am happy that Katie sat so pretty for me while I combed out her fur to make her feel better. She was such a good girl I gave her a couple treats!!

I am soooooo happy for the friends I have and even more happy for one very special friend.

I'm happy to be able to video chat with my 18-month-old granddaughter Eva Lucia almost every morning before I have to go to work. Apparently, peek-a-boo never gets old with kids this age and its cute to watch her try to figure out how to reach through the computer screen!

You are so lucky Rob. And what fun! I am so glad you can enjoy her that way. My mom just came home from visiting her first great grandchild. I think they are going to miss each other terribly!! Hopefully they will be able to skype!

Yep, Krissy and Cathy, Skype rules! It is so nice to be able to see her grow and watch her little mind develop on a daily basis! Grandparenting by remote control--gotta love it!
