Just came home from work and read about the mass murders in Cumbria.

What a tragedy! My prayers for all of those who have lost their loved ones, and for those who have been wounded, and for the healing of people damaged by such senseless violence.

Too many guns in the wrong hands in this world. God give the victims peace!

I don't understand how these people can live in society without something tipping them off. Somebody had to know something about that person that would send up red flags. So why are they ignored? Why isn't something done to stop these people from committing such violent acts? Where is the responsibility in their families and the communities that know them? How about their doctors? So many innocent victims and their heart broken families left in his wake. Is just so sad that every time you turn around this type of violent crime is happening all over the world every day.

I too pray for the victims and their families for the peace they need and to be able to heal their hearts and pray they do not become hardened.

What a devastating tragedy!  So needless!  So many innocent people going about their normal daily lives and in the blink of an eye all is changed for ever!  My heart breaks for the families of those victims.

It's hard to understand why this happens. A seemingly normal, well adjusted person just snaps. It make no sense.

It breaks my heart. Cry

I was reading about this in today's newspaper, it took the place of the 20 some bodies of tourists found killed and shoved down an mine in Mexico recently. It says that the cabbie tipped off another worker, he'd not be returning that day in advance...so it was premeditated murder in an way...I wonder what over...so much of it these days is lack of work to support oneself any more. No place to turn to. It makes people "snap" and do crazy things to be cornered with no way out. For some there is little left to lose in the world any more...besides one life..even if that is wrong...and to kill others is no help to the situation.

My condolences to the families that were victimized also.

Its so sad for all cocerned, It happened just a few miles up the coast from me. In a beautiful part of the country that is relativly crime-free. It appears that the guy was a middle-adged cab driver who had lived in the area all his life. He apparently had a 'Will' issue with his brother so it seems he drove to his brothers house and shot him, then he drove to the family solicitor, shot him then onto his place of work and shot a number of cab drivers he had issues with. It seems after that that he drove to a country beauty spot, shooting at people on the way before shooting himself. I dont think he was a bad man he just 'flipped'
