I do hope she will be checking in again soon and that things are looking up for her. Ditto that, Rick (re: seasons). We have had a hot, humid summer and a lot of rain lately, including some flooding. I'm sooo ready for beautiful autumn. Really looking forward to mid-October when I travel to Albuquerque with my daughter for a few days. |

As you are all longing for Autumn we are almost into Spring down here (way, way down south Don!) During winter we don't get any rain (let alone snow), just an occasional light frost. Although we find it very cold, you would probably only need a light jersey while we are wrapped up in thick jerseys with the heaters on! The mid day temperature today (in the shade was around 24oC (+/- 65oF). Its gorgeous! But tonight the temperature will drop about 15 degrees (C) and it is the difference between the day time and night time temperatures that we feel. I can't wait now for the warmer weather so I can pack all the jerseys and trousers away. |

I can attest to its beauty - Kentucky blue grass, horse country - lovely. As is the countryside of Virginia. Of course, I love to visit the Rocky Mountain area, particularly Colorado. |
