Today we commemorate the 70 year anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

I take a moment today to be grateful to those who served in both WWI & WWII, who gave their time and (too many) their lives, so that we could be a free people.

Even though my two Uncles died on the Somme, in the first world war, I remember them at this time too.

And my son, now serving in the Army.

And everyone who ever has, and is now, serving to afford us our freedoms.

I give you my gratitude.

Hi Cathy, Urmi, Sue and James.

I too have a lot of gratitude for the members of the military and am thankful so much for their efforts and for their families that they leave behind.

You know Urmi, when I look back over the years at all that has happened and the amount of stress I have been under continually it is so clear that I am here for a Heavenly purpose or I would have been long gone by now. I never really looked at myself as being brave. Thank you for such wonderful words and compliments. Much love and warm wishes for you too.

Thinking of Sue's comment, I thought this photo was appropriate.
