lancashirelove Posts: 1986 Joined: 18th Feb 2009 Location: UK | quotePosted at 16:48 on 13th September 2010 I dont think this particular pontif is as well liked or respected as the last one, I believe the present pope was a member of 'Hitler Youth' when he was younger, he also 'covered-up' many of the 'child molesting Priests' and wont allow Priests to marry or have a 'normal' realationship with the opposite sex. He also doesnt want women church leaders, he believes women are good for arranging the flowers in the church and making cups of tea lol. Plus its costing the British tax-payer £12 million for his short visit here. I saw the last one to visit the UK in the 80's, he had something about him, I cant see the same in this one. IMO I wish him a safe visit though. |
