I know some of the members have already responded to Ruth's reqest for prayers for her brother Jim, but felt it would be appropriate to start another thread.

So Jim....know that prayers from Anna and Ron are heading your way right now, get well soon and believe that the power of POE prayer really can help.

Thank you, my dear friends.  I'm very close to my brother, so this is pretty devastating.  But the Drs don't seem to be too alarmed, they told him to get it taken care of at least by the end of the year so that's a good sign.  The Dr. said lucky he had appendicitis, or they might not have found it until it had spread.

Thanks for starting the thread, Ron.  The power of POE prayers, that's the way God works, like you said, Krissy, with lots of love.

Although I mentioned it in another thread, Ruth wanted you to know I was thinking of you and saying prayers for Jim and the rest of the family. I am glad it isn't so urgent but I would personally feel better if he took care of it right away. You never know what one's immune system is like and how things can spread. I would feel he was a lot safer that way.

My thoughts are with you Ruth. It's always darkest just before the dawn. Over the years I've often found this is true during the worst times in my life.
