We have not heard from Shirley. I had an idea. How about all of us send Shirley postcards and bombard her with affection to let her know she is missed. I think we should do the same for Diana!! Tell me what you think. I have Shirley's address too. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cathyml replied And Stephanie??? Peggy unfortunately has a very painful shoulder and is unable to use the computer, so please would you think of her in your prayers, requesting a speedy recovery?? We miss you Peggy!! |

I managed to go up the road today, only to find the machine to print them is broken. The good news is, my wife is in Cornwall and she got some cards for me from there. Still no cards in Barking though. I may have to go further afield in search of them. Whatever happened to the old card shops? |

You can text messages on your mobile/cell phone to let everyone know how your holiday is going, or pop into an internet cafe and email the news and add pics. So who wants to sit and write cards or letters anymore??? While they are available maybe we should send lots because they are likely to become exhibits in a museum in the future!! LOL |

I got a long letter from Shirley and it was so nice to sit and read her letter. Got a gorgeous post card from Dolores. Thanks Dolores. More coming your way sometime this month. I sent Peggy a get well card. I think it would be lovely if we all did and she got bombarded with special wishes. I know it would make her feel loved and special. How about it folks? Anyone else willing to do so? Edited by: Cathy E. at:4th October 2010 00:01 |
