Cathy,how is your back? Much better I hope. Cant stop long,just wanted to see my friends were OK.

Peter, my back is pretty bad again. Been sitting here with the ice pack for over an hour hoping to get the swelling and inflammation down. Had to cancel my appts. for today as I can't bend over to even get a shower. 

Oh Cathy, that is not such good news.  I am so sorry.  I hope the ice pack has done a little towards easing the swelling by now.

Peter also, I had hoped (as I am very sure you had too) that things would have got better for you by now.  Will continue to keep both of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks so much Cathy. The ice hasn't done anything so far. I will have to keep icing it all day. I was just up washing dishes which isn't very strenuous. I even had my back brace on but now that I sat down again my back is just screaming all the way down my leg and throbbing in my back. 

I have also sent off more post cards so hope you get it soon as Peter has.

It was soooo cold this morning....it never got up past 40 degrees until around noon....I find out that President Obama will be here Wednesday..and vice pres. Biden in Vancouver...across the Columbia River...and another diginatary Congressman up an but further north. No wonder they have been chemtrailing and my head pounding...they like to do security with electro-magnetic pulsing. Bush particualrly around election time. But anyway they are here for an day supporting the up coming political incumbants. Word is out people are unhappy for some reason these days. One of the issues is this so called "La Vegas" Style casino in the works...all we got to do is vote "yes" and its taken care of by it's supporters....whom may go broke if they aren't careful in my estimation. But say..we have lost so much now, I doubt we could lose any more at times. Do you think in time we will have La Vegas prostition and drugs going on...hope not.  It will be about 3 miles north of me here...maybe an reason to come an visit me...heh? With the casino comes an hotel, water park, bowling alley and shopping mall. Party on!!!

Sounds like it's going to be a hard winter everywhere this year Shirley!

Sorry to hear you suffer back pain Cathy E, such a debilitating problem that seems to 'get in the way' of even the simplest of tasks.Hopefully whatever treatment you are having will take some effect soon.

A casino 'just up the road' sk, no good to me, I am an unlucky person, example? I bought a new suit with two pair of trousers and burnt a hole in the jacket!! Maybe you could make a few dollars with off-street parking and ferrying gamblers to the casino?

You all sound friendly interesting folk, so if I may, I will scroll back and read older posts when I have the time, to learn a little more about you all.

We, (my wifes name is Elaine) are off for lunch today with group from Internet chat forum.
