Urmi...Krissy...Terry...everyone else..gosh its good to see you all here!!!

Now you know you got "POE" power Ron when there's an snow storm hitting across the western to middle of the United States right now and your 1/2 mile from the tranistion zone to where the snow starts fallling. Yeah...can you beleive that one!!!

My son just stopped by...he's taking my Kitchen-aide mixer as he says my daughter in-law has someone might get it fixed...many years ago I use to use the bread dough hook on it...andone batch  was pulling badly on the motor...so I've never used it since but for real light batter type receipes. His jeep has snow all over the top of it.I bet he enjoys the four wheel drive right now...he really covers some treacherous roads getting to his house. But they seem to manage it. Anyway the mixer getting fixed pleases me for an Christmas Present...as its long time need it...and I have all kinds of attachments that fit it also.

My foot this morning see's the pain gone also...I gave up my bed for the sofa and feel lots better...with nothing touching my feet at night. What can I say?...OH,... JOY! JOY! JOY!

Talk later...suppose to have an couple of inches of snow here soon and by Wednesday... it's history. Christmas is complete for the season (early snow) ...and we are just gearing up good...but we can use the reprieve in the weather for shoppers and events going on.

Hello, good people.

Another deadline met and another publication to the publicer. The end of a very busy period with loads of work at home and at the office.

Out of the stream now and back into calm waters. Not so calm because there is a major change coming into our live. My son and his wife expecting our first grandchild and they are planning to move in at our place. Space is no problem, but there is a lot to do before we can decorate the babyroom.

For now hopefully some more time to spent on POE, but first I have to clean up my desk. What a mess.

Oh dear! North Korea attacks South Korea, and my oldest boy is right up there in the war zone.

Send up a prayer for the whole bunch of them, especially the innocent civilians.

We have white-out conditions here. High (very high) winds and snow causing blizzards. So I am also worrying about my youngest son, who is out on the roads with his job.

And my husband has a mountain pass to travers this evening on his way to work.

I worry, I eat. Expect a very fat Sue by the end of the day.

Hi everyone! Hope you have a nice day.

Sue, prayers being said for all of them. I totally understand the worry/eat syndrome! Is the story of my life. Don't worry about what you look like. It's what is inside that counts. Wink Hugs!!

Sue its getting about time to re-light new "prayer" candles for the year...I'll be sure and let them burn an little longer for "Peace" in the hearts of mankind again...and safety for the world from world power over common sense. Blessings be your son's are safe. Now you know why they say if mother's were running the world there wwould be no "wars". Love is stronger then military might with us "mothers".

2,000 people are out in the icy snow covered streets downtown Portland...for blocks long at the Convention Center...getting "free" dental care... for most of us we simply have no dental insurance to get it any other way. Don' t never tell me we don't need "Health reform" and how do people pay for health insurance if they don't have paying jobs that are worthy to begin with? Obama get your head out of the sky please and face reality. Our "high" today..an chilly 24 degrees.

In the meantime my son starts an new job hoping he can get in enough hours to pay his rent and bills...my brother is out of an job also...and he had an really good one at one time....just getting his wife out of the hospital from the flu...she should be better having had I'V's ran through her. Because of my daughter in-law's surgery..neither of .their wives are not working either. I sent over another 24 pound turkey to my brother last night...what's $4.96 if Ican get them on sale. My new sister in-law sounded grateful for the help.So..I can say...I know both my sister an brother will have an Holiday meal to eat if they will take th etime to cook it..we will be at my kid's house with her sister and parents there also. As is said in the newpspaper..this year it's "a meal to be thankful for". An local church will be feeding 700 people this Thursday. These are not the homeless...they are people subjected to low paying- partime jobs and can't make it otherwise. My such heavy discussion. I am grateful that we can help my own family if but very little..that pleases me. I've been there with no one to turn to for help many an time...I understand. I sure hope it warms up an bit...we could use clear streets for the commuting now. Don on your aprons and warm up the oven! You know what I see...turkey cookie cutters used to make little mincemeat..."turkey" pies...hum...says they are fast to make if you used the bottled mincemeat...some them birds are lightly dusted with powder sugar and some aren't....hum. Might have to try ths one out.

I meant neither of their wives can help them right now as neither has health good enough to work from medical problems.

I guess the people that I asked that make the eco-bricks did indeed supply them here locally at where I asked them if they would...my son gifted me with 8 "bricks" to try out for $4...and so with two of my dried newspaper logs...and four bricks and one big log I heated my house most all yesterday afternoon....without the furnace coming on and they say that electricity will be an premium when the electric cars get started up and used more often. I wish we could switch over to natural gas...at least we'd be warm...without the furnace blowing in cool air 10 mins everytime it comes on...until the heat ducts heat up. It reminds me of the paper I have on what the customer wanted...which was an kids "swing" hanging off an tree limb...to what he got...the tree split in two with the swing hanging off an bar inbetween the split tree trunk...makes for an good laugh...but the way things are often done these days.
