Most the parties are on Saturday for the young mature crowd and I see one costume party at one of my favorite places....when I was younger... "The Reflectory" is giving away an $1,000 in the competition. Because we live in an two story house...we have taken to make things an little safer for the trick or treaters... by stringing orange mini-lights up the entryway...with our decorations....we did that today. I see more of our neighbors are into lights these days around thie entries so they are indeed well lighted. Many of my Holloween things didn't come down this year...we'd have to fight our way through the Christmas stuff to get to them....I though an entire small town that surrounds an bed though as I use to have my guest room downstairs...the incomplete remodeling stopped it this year...plus my grandkids having moved I don't have as many decorations up this year in general. Hope it goes well. Seems like people shy of the decorating or go all out though...and the house on the next street over is one of those that goes all out...it has an black spider nearly half the size of the house crawling over its roof...".spooky" and the front yard is all cemetary stones...lighted displays of various kinds. I hope you enjoy your small "treat" in leiu of the postcard. |
