Well, we read in the newspapers regularly about children being injured, drugged, left at home alone to fend for themselves, locked away in disgusting conditions, subjected to abuse from adults and yet when they are identified and it goes to Court these 'responsible adults' generally end up getting their knuckles slapped, or maybe a fine (which probably doesn't get paid anyhow) and/or are then released back into the public domain to perhaps do it again. My question is, how come the Courts and/or the 'do-gooders' appear to think more of the animals than they do of our children?

I think anyone who hurts another living thing, whether it be animal or human should be punished to the extent of the law. I don't think there is any excuse in this world that would excuse them from just punishment. And if they do get away with it, it is because the people in the courts are just as bad. But know in the end that there is a higher power we will all have to answer to at some point and he will not be lenient I can promise you! |

If anything to perhaps say the little girl wasn't under very good parental supervision. . |
