I was watching Nigelle Lawson and her HGTV cooking show this morning..she was merging also..she was cutting votive candle sized cut outs in zuchinni squash and red apples and putting the votive candles in them and set them on an pretty golden metal plate and li tthem. Shewas showing how to have an small get together party. Some o fher ideas included an spice cake cut in small cubes and placed on an red platter..then she pushed in small plasstic trees and deer and then went over the whole works with powdered sugar..they look like they had been snowed on. She served some kind of of meatballs with an like Salsa topping and small sausages in an big bread round she had cleaned out in the center and of course her drinks. She was showing us how to have an low cost party of friiends over. I thinkl for an "cook" she is quite beautiful. For those of you with kids...to your cookie cutters let the kids have fun with this playdough...and be sure and keep it in plastic bags so it doesn't dry out. Kid's Playdough.....2 cups of flour, one cup of salt, mix and add.........4 teaspoons oil..4 teaspoons cream of tarter, 2 cups of water....divide portions and add food coloring to your desire...Your ready to play now. |
