They are suggesting that contestant Wagner could actually win X-Factor. If he does, I reckon Simon Cowell and the X-Factor is done for, because this guy Wagner admits he can't sing well, gets the words wrong etc. What is the matter with the public? Vote him off, or do you think he is good? If so let us hear why you think that way here in the POE forum please.

I have actually given up watching the X-Factor programme and was shocked to say the least, as this was broadcast on the television just a few minutes ago!

If you go back to the X Factor thread you started Ron, I think I mentioned we'd be seeing Wagner for a few weeks more yet, as did Debbie and Michael; the writing was on the wall back then what was going on---using Wanger to take a swipe at Simon Cowell and the programme. I'm sure people in the US are watching this going on too as it's being launched over there next year.

When Cheryl Cole pulled Wagner up last week about his comments in the press about her background ( despite the judges saying don;t believe what you read in the papers !) he seemed to come out best and aquired even more fans.   So, I think there is a section of viewers who'd like nothing more that to see Simon Cowell offering a recording contract to a winner who can't carry a tune in a bucket, and try to get a recording to the Xmas No.1 spot with them.

Just looking at Facebook and at least 90,000 people listed belonging to various support/vote for Wagner Groups.

Wagner's X Factor career came to a halt tonight and here's his last performance which, surprisingly, wasn't that bad compared to many of his earlier offerings.

James, does your wife shave her chin? lol

RE Wagner (Vagner lol) Do you think his removal was 'engineered' due to the fact that it was not the so-called 'public' vote that he lost but the 'panal' vote and he was paired up with Walsh's other contestant, Mary?

the voting to keep Wagner in story seems to have taken another twist.

Apparently, people were placing adverts online for attractive items and the number for anyone interested to ring was Wagner's voting phone line number. Thus how many people voted for him without realising it plus paying for the premium rate phone call too?

I would have thought though, that being an 09 prefix number, that people might have thought twice before dialling it. Also, why not put the number in Google and see if it comes up anywhere not related to the advert?
