Must we be sad or glad? I'm glad that The Netherlands/Belgium bid was not choosen. It's not about football it's about money.

Makes me wonder how Russia came to win when Putrid said he wouldn't attend! I reckon there's more to come on this story.

did anyone watch the panorama programme this week? a lot of o people may say it had an influence on the vote --i dont think it did.

if you watch the decision to-night blatter announced the winner a few seconds before he produced the letter and how can an old chap like him read it upside down,in my opinion it was decided a long time before the proceedures even took place   --another fiddle.

Two votes out of twenty two (and one of those was ours). If we really are hated that much, it's time we stopped doing so much, paying out so much for 'our friends'. Bl...y disgraceful!

We sent a powerful representation and a 1st rate presentation backing Englands bid to stage the Football World cup in 2018. our future King, prime minister and world class players were there and presented a 'second to none' bid. unfortunately they didnt take their wallets and the 'two-faced' members of the select comittee consisting of 21 members of the corrupt 'Club-Med' that operates under the name of FIFA had already sold their votes to Russia. To add furthur insult, he same weak-minded voters on that committee made another 'back-hander' by selling their votes for the 2022 games to non other than Qater. (Where is Qater you may ask?) Its an oil rich family run piece of sand in the Persian gulf .

Yes James, if you also watch the faces of The Russian Delegates who were sat next to the English delgates before it was announced. The two women in the Russian party just couldnt hide their 'smiles' behind their comrades well before it was announced.

I wonder if Mr Chelski will continue pumping money into the London club now that he has 'bought' Fifa?

I know James but sometimes, just sometimes you hope that you meet the odd 'honest' official that honours his word. maybe those days are gone and everyone today is on the take and 'lining their pockets' at the expense of the less fortunate!

Anyone know who the country was that voted for us, a 'big' thanks to them anyway, one little spark of respect left.

Bring on the Eurovision song contest, LOL!!!!
