She had an endoscopy yesterday to try to determine the cause of her constant stomach pain. She went home yesterday after that, but this morning was admitted to hospital again because she was vomiting and passing blood from an as yet undetermined source. Poor dear has so many health issues but keeps soldiering on with her positive outlook, but I don't know how much more she can withstand in her weakened condition. Thanks for remembering her in your thoughts and prayers. |

Both your mother and you Barbara have been added to my list. I'll be thinking of you and wishing for a speedy diagnosis of your mother's condition. |

Some of the family struggling with the winter bug, sickness and the trots which seem to be prevalent in the UK right now. Give your Mum our love Barbara and take care of yourself also. |

I just spoke with the ICU nurse who said my Mum is doing better (no more vomiting blood, etc.) and is stable with a good red blood count. They were finally able to give her a unit of blood, and she was asking for food, although she's not allowed to eat yet. Still no answer on the cause of the bleeding at this juncture. Thank God and the power of POE prayer for getting her this far though! Have a good night and I'll check back in tomorrow. |
