I agree!     but sometimes we do need a little help, sometimes these virus can kill us, so its the best option?  flu can kill you too if your unlucky, or unwell!!   but i agree, i never have the vaccine!!

Yes...if it's polio, or typhoid...then yes. But the flu? They make the school kids here...and babies in daycare get the flu shot. I've been lucky dodging that bullet with Erin!

Here you can go into Wal-mart (which is like your Tescos) and buy underwear, motor oil and get your flu shot. Just seems too...*shrugs* mainstream...ya know??

I concede that polio, typhoid, diptheria, tetanus injections are probably vital for controlling the spead of deadly diseases, especially in the very young.

I know that they say people who are at risk such as the elderly or those with heart disease, etc., should have the flu injection......but they are often not in a good condition to fight off the after effects.

I have just had my shot of dead swine flu. I feel like i have been hit by a bus at the moment but i think it's worth it. A 50 million to 10 fatality rate is a little to close for me.

See that's my argument too Cathy. My mom being so sick was recently told to get a flu shot! To me that was crazy...but then again, what do I know!
