Still busy scrubbing and cleaning - phew what a job. Should be finished tomorrow when I bang a few nails in the wall to hang up several canvases and scrub the bathroom & tea room by the studio. Monday I am hoping to do absolutely nothing, ha ha! |

It's not a nice job at the best of times (It's self clean by the way lol). Yeah, whenever did an oven clean itself? Chronic osteoarthritis affects us both so its a constant battle, but after sufficient medication is swallowed, we begin to get closer to considering the task ahead but we ache soon after, and the pain will last for two days or more, so not a job that we want to do very often. I sought a price for a professional to clean it, and the quote started with a statement like this: Well it's £50 to start with and then there's the.....I interrupted and said don't bother that represents 10% of the cost of a new oven. Such is life eh? |

A lot of them this year! Beth the canvases are all painted. I have a vast quantity of painted items in the studio/tea room, which are all used as samples for the students to follow!! I've painted on wood, ceramics, glass & candles, (and anything else I can lay my hands on, lol), 2metre paintings on calico, 1m paintings on wall hangings of polycotton material. Lots and lots of tablecloths and other linens and kitchen wear. Paintings in watercolour and on canvas (of all sorts of sizes), etc. ad infinitum!! (Well you did ask!) |

I love purchasing these type of artworks....fav is usually those done on canvas...thus the questions about it...hmmm...might be able to work something out here .... |

They have taken all my pictures which I don't use for teaching and they are all hanging in their home now. Looks like a gallery lol. PS I paint on canvas but not with oils or acrylics!! |
