Sorry everyone but I will stand out and say that I do not like tea in any form, last "drip o tay" sometime back in the early 1970's in West Chiltington Sussex. I hope I have not offended this nation of tea drinkers but as they say , "each to his own."

I love tea and have been drinking it since I was a little girl. I love to have a mug of tea first thing in the morning with a little sugar and milk. I prefer Twinings English Breakfast tea then. Throughout the day I might have one more cup and it is usually Twinings Green Tea with Chamomile. I also like Twinings Earl Grey. I love to make a proper tea in a pot with little treats or sandwiches and close friends to enjoy it with. Using my good china too. I used to belong to a group called the "Daughters of The British Empire." We had tea at all of our meetings and sometimes put on a tea as a fundraiser. I can't wait to join the group again after I move and get settled.

And in the summertime I love to have Iced Tea with sugar and lemon on ice. It is so refreshing on a hot day.

Couldn't you just picture my three sweet cats sitting at a little table in their Sunday best enjoying a cup of tea and a few treats??? Smile

I don't think I could compete with the lady who drank 25 cups of tea a day but I cannot get going without 3 mugs of tea in the mornings!!  A couple of mugs at lunchtime and about 3 mugs around 5 in the evening.  I also drink several cups of coffee during the day too.  This is a hot, dry (well except for the past week when we have had just about non-stop rain, lol) country and we need plenty of fluids.  Don't trust the tap water even with a filter on it and object to buying bottled water.

Vince if you don't drink tea what do you drink?

Beth - I've never heard of Long Island tea - do tell me more!! lol

My tea of choice on a daily basis is Bigelow's English Teatime, which I have at home and is also provided at my office.  I prefer it with a splash of milk and Splenda.  I also like it sometimes blended with a Celestial Seasonings Cinnamon Apple Spice herbal teabag with honey and lemon.  I generally use a mug at home in the morning, but on weekends if I have time to do a proper tea in a pot, then I use a cup and saucer.  I also have a special English bone china mug with a lovely thatched cottage scene on it which I use for drinking tea at work.

I drink coffee (French Roast or Sumatra) at work in the mornings and on weekend mornings, also with milk and Splenda.
